Paying Tribute to the Greatest Tiger Team of My Generation

There’s an ongoing debate that MLB only wants people to buy their tickets from the box office and that baseball ticket brokers should be avoided. The problem is, only the best tickets are available from brokers so if I want the best seats, that’s where I’ll have to keep going.
In light of using my Detroit Tigers tickets to catch the recent thrilling victory over Chicago, I would like to say a few words on the state of the modern game. Action in the 2006 MLB season so far has been somewhat lackluster, with everybody intensely watching Red Sox games to see the Yankees of the new millennium emerge. But they havent. As far as seeing the best of promising new talent is concerned, I think that Texas Rangers tickets and NY Mets tickets will be your best bet this season.
Apart from our favorite Detroit Tigers tickets that is. The quick actions of Marcus Thames and Chris Shelton in winning this White Sox series go to show just how entertaining tickets to Tigers games can be these days. Our six-game winning streak in April disappointed all of those who bought Minnesota Twins tickets and Royals tickets as we opened up our lead in the AL central. My friend was lucky enough to have tickets to Oakland As games and witnessed the 11-4 road victory first hand. We were also robbed of a 13 game winning streak in May by losing one of the Cincinnati Reds games. The combined 206 hits of Ivan Rodriguez and Magglio Ordonez is a huge factor in making tickets to Tigers games extremely popular at the moment. Such visible talent is probably the reason why people are already tipping the Tigers as winners of this years MLB World Series.
I would love to see the Tigers continue their strong play to the end of the season. However, buying Detroit Tigers tickets is not the only way to see good baseball this season. The NL West division remains extremely close at the moment, tickets to Padres games and San Francisco Giants tickets are bound to satisfy any spectator this season. Tickets to Cardinals games and Cincinnati Reds tickets will also prove valuable as the battle to top the NL West comes to a climax. Woe betide ye if you forget the AL Eastern division; Yankees tickets, Red Sox tickets and Blue Jays tickets are as popular as ever as the teams are all separated by only 8 wins.
So despite a little unease following the Red Sox success of last year there is still lots of great competitive baseball left to see this season. Particularly, I feel, if you happen to have Detroit Tigers tickets. The possibility that we will emerge as the best performing team of the 2006 MLB baseball season is very real. I for one will be buying my MLB Baseball Playoff tickets in advance this year.
